House reef
Camiguin Volcan Beach Eco Retreat & Dive Resort is the first and only resort in Camiguin with its own house reef just outside the front door. There is something for everyone.
Whether coral garden, wall, drift diving, not to mention countless much macro; The House reef offers “all-in-one”. Via a little bridge you can easily enter the water and experience fantastic dives from early morning until night dive.
From „Platax Pinnatus“ (dusky batfish)„emblem“ of our Logo, relaxed turtlesthe rare blue ribbon eel, oversized huge barrel sponges , colourful corals and feather stars, countless nudibranchs; basketstar , elegant sea snakes; frogfish; electric clams, mantis shrimp, eagle rays - we have it all.
Divesites
In addition to the House reef Diving, we can also offer you the possibility to explore the beautiful dive sites around Camiguin, including the famous Mantique Nature Park.
- Beach Dives directly from the beach, transport with with Jeepny or Multicab.
- Boat Dives are offered with the typical filipino outrigger boats
The other dive highlights of Camiguin are “White Island“ “Old Volcano” or “Sunken Cemetery” which are just around the corner and easily accessible . The day trips to “Mantique Island” including beach picnic, are not only popular with divers, but also an absolute must do for snorkelers and an unforgettable experience.

Volcan Beach House Reef
Type of site: Sandy reef slope Average depth: 5-30m Dive certification: Beginner and Advanced Nice and easy site for beginners and experienced divers, consisting of a beautiful garden of soft and hard coral. It is a good Dive Site to find macro aquatic life.

Gipsy Rover
Type of site: Sandy reef slope Average depth: 14-25m Dive certification: Beginner and Advanced A small sail boat is lying at 16 m in a sandy area of this famous muck dive site.

- Different lion fish in the tiny wreck.
- Scorpion fish,
- batfish,
- schools of fusiliers,
- different moray eels,
- garden eels,
- frogfish,
- clams,
- ghost pipefish,
- leaf fish.

Tango Bay
Type of site: Steep reef slope Average depth: 4-30m Dive certification: Beginner and Advanced Tango Bay is usually a calm dive. This steep slope provides an interesting dive for macro lovers.

- porcelain crab
- and more. Colourful parrotfish,

White Island - Black Forest
Type of site: Reef slope Average depth: 6-25m Dive certification: Advanced Approximately a kilometre away from Camiguin, White Island offers an enchanting black coral garden. An occasional current give the opportunity to see jacks, snappers, groupers, fusiliers and the fun of a drift dive.
What you can see:
- Schools of Moorish idol and
- butterfly fish are abundant.

Type of site: Slope Average depth: 5-20m Dive certification: Beginner and Advanced Sandy slope with a variety of different coral blocks.

Tupsan

Mantigue Island Nature Park
Type of site: Wall Average depth: 3-40m Dive certification: Beginner and Advanced From sandy area to a drop-off bordered by hard corals. This is a protected sanctuary where the corals are in a pristine condition. Excellent site if you want to see a lot of fishes.

Catarman - Coral Garden
Type of site: Reef Slope Average depth: 6-20m Dive certification: Beginner to Advanced This dive site is situated within a sanctuary and has a nice coral garden with colourful softcorals & healthy hardcoral formations

- scorpion,
- stone fish,
- puffer fish,
- garden eels,
- occasionally turtles
- occasionallyMantas and whalesharks in season.

Catibac
Type of site: Coral garden and canyons Average depth: 3-25m Dive certification: Beginner to Advanced Coral garden, big rocks forming canyons sloping away into the blue. Very colourful dive site edged by garden eels.
What you can see:
- Large collection of pipe fish hiding around the rocks,
- batfish, sweetlips,
- Moorish idols,
- masses of small colourful fishes
- occasionally schools of big mouth Mackerels
- occasionally turtles

Sunken Cemetery
Type of site: Reef Slope Average depth: 5-25m Dive certification: Beginner to Advanced The cemetery grounds sank in 1871 when old volcano erupted. Now a giant white cross stands on the water as its reminder. This site is now a marine sanctuary and is growing abundantly.

- ribbon and moray eels,
- blue-spotted stingray,
- frogfish, and
- some shy turtles.

Old Volcano
Type of site: Steep Drop Average depth: 5-30m Dive certification: Beginner to Advanced It is a fairly steep drop full of corals and a huge variety of small, colourful fishes. It is formed with lava and boulders create overhangs and pinnacles covered with colourful hard and soft corals.
What you can see:

- oysters.
- Sweetlips,
- batfish,
- small jacks,
- snappers,
- Octopus hidden in the rocks,
- ghostpipe fish in soft coral,
- different nudibranchs,
- scorpion fish and other macro creatures.

Tangup Hot Spring
Type of site: Sandy volcano slope with lava rocks Average depth: 5-30m Dive certification: Beginner to Advanced Hotspring can be experienced underwater in around 15meters, depending on the tides.
What you can see:

- different kinds of nudibranchs and shrimps,
- orang-utan crab,
- lion fish,
- fusiliers.

Dive Center
In addition, you can find 3 clean, convenient wash basins at different depths.
- There is an airy and spacious, lockable dry room for the equipment.
- Each diver has their own box and 2 robust hardwood hangers.
- Outdoor fresh water showers are both at the bridge by the ocean and in the courtyard.
The rental equipment is of a high standard and completely new. BCD's from Aqua Lung, Apeks Regulators , Suunto dive computers and aluminum tanks from 8 to 15 litre's are available for you. A brand new “Bauer Poseidon 280” compressor always ensures good, clean air.
